maybe we're lost

For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again

you matter.

“No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind.”

A month ago I was in Peru. This past month has been an extreme roller coaster that I did not expect to experience. Yet, more than ever, I am seeing God’s faithfulness all around me. Every single day I wake up to a new mountain of challenges. Every day I have to push myself to keep climbing. And every time I think about retreating God is there to gently push me. For that, I am finding true peace. Not perfection. Not an easy or comfortable life. But peace within the fact that God is faithful every second of every day. And when we are weary and want to give up, God is there to be strong and resilient for us.

“I remain confident of this:
    I will see the goodness of the Lord
    in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord;
  be strong and take heart
    and wait for the Lord.”

Psalm 27:13-14
